In Porto, a man known as Ramos Indiano has an impressive archive of Bollywood soundtracks that he sings and plays using "trancanholas." What makes him so captivated by this distant culture that drives him to appropriate these mega-productions using only his voice and by tapping two wooden sticks against each other?
Removing finished products from their frames, taking them out of the showcase, giving them life again, recycling them, and returning them to popular practice: frente-a-frente explores this game, seizing world pop cultures, harnessing their power with drums, voice, and body, and transforming them back into a popular practice.
